National Weather Study Project

The National Weather Study Project, started in 2006, helps to inculcate a proactive interest in climate change and the problems it poses. Students will record rainfall, temperature, humidity, solar intensity, and wind speed and direction, with the help of mini weather station sponsored by Senoko Power.

Environment Week

Environment Week is to raise awareness of environmental issues among students in TPJC. This year, we set up an exhibition featuring Tampines River as part of the college collaboration with PUB to adopt the river under the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) programme.

Adopt Tampines River

Adopt Tampines River project is under the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) programme initiated by PUB. The aim of the programme is to transform Singapore's waterbodies and make them active, beautiful and clean.

Movie: An Inconvenient Truth

As part of the objective of the Science and Environment Club to expand the knowledge of our members on environmental issues, we watched An Inconvenient Truth to learn more about the issues pertaining to global warming; its effects and the measures that should be taken to reduce the impact of global warming.
