Past Achievements

Singapore Youth Festival - SYF 2005 (3 May 2005)

Competing with some other top notch and experienced school Chinese Orchestras, Tampines Junior College Chinese Orchestra is working hard and also experiencing both fun and challenges in this upcoming prestige competition.

In year 2005, our Chinese Orchestra has bagged away the Silver Award, along with other colleges which include Meridian Junior College (MJC), Nanyang Junior College (NYJC) and Anglo Chinese Junior College (ACJC).

The Singapore Youth Festival is an annual event organized by the Co-Curricular Activities Branch (CCAB) of the Ministry of Education. It is a celebration of the dynamism and creativity of Singapore's youth and provides a platform for the schools to showcase their multifarious talents and abilities in the performing arts and sports.
