Here is the list of past activities the
executive committees have organized in 2004 and 2005.
Chinese Orchestra SYF'05 Preparation Camp
(8 - 10 April 2005)
We have organized a 2 day 1 night
preparatory camp for this year Singapore Youth Festival in the college. The
main objective of this camp is to foster better relations between the newly
recruited JC1 performing members and also the existing JC2 performing seniors.
In addition, the camp programme lined up with mass
activities and fractions of sectional trainings and orchestral practices. The
camp ended with a successful note, whereby the main objective of the camp has
been achieved.

Community Involvement Project in Kheng Chin Lake Tin Kee Home for
the Aged

The project committee
for this CIP have decided to put up a performance in the Home for the
Aged. The main aim for this community project is to provide invaluable chance
for our orchestra members putting up a public performance before the actual day
of SYF. Our orchestra believes in sharing our expertise and knowledge in music
with the local community. Besides, attending this CIP to entertain the old folks,
the orchestra will be contributing their essential skills and knowledge in
music back to the society.

Farewell Night Dinner cum BBQ Session (
To thank all our seniors and members for
their countless hard work and efforts, the orchestra organized a BBQ session at
Pasir Ris BBQ Area.
Investiture Dinner (August 2004)
The previous batch of Chinese Orchestra
Executive committee organized a get-together dinner at Tampines
Mall, Fish and Co. This dinner marks the beginning of Year 2004 / 2005 Chinese
Orchestra Executive Committee office.

Camaraderie Chalet cum BBQ Session (June
2004)
Academic Year 2003 / 2004 Chinese
Orchestra Executive organized a chalet cum BBQ session at Pasir
Ris Aloha Chalet Resort. The main objective of this chalet
is to foster friendships and important team spirit bonding among the seniors
and juniors.
